We've set ourselves a goal of helping Mum's in the community .  Whether by volunteering time or raising funds, the outcome will only be limited by the enthusiasm of our super mums and their communities.

Not only does volunteering time, skills, knowledge and energy and  fund raising give you a chance to use some of your hidden talents in business or otherwise, it will make you feel great and lift your spirits to know that you are not only working as a highly functional and goal oriented team, but you are also helping others who may be less fortunate than you.

Volunteering and fundraising is a great way to meet new people and other exciting, proactive and dynamic mums..

If we don't have a Superclassmums Super Meeting near you and you would like to start-up your own Superclassmums Charity Fundraiser in your own area, please contact us and we'll help get things started.

We have always been firm believers in the power of giving, and we understand that working in a network of like-minded people sharing a common goal and vision to assist others, allows us to achieve a range of personal goals while giving a sense of fulfilment that can positively sweep through the community. For every small fundraising effort made, a much greater gain is achieved for the charity/cause, the mum, and the greater community.

A NEW support group based in Cherrybrook is connecting mothers with similar interests.· And now those mothers have set out to do what mums do best lend a helping hand.·

Superclassmums was started by Cherrybrook mum Janelle Murdoch who wanted to create a place for mothers to connect.· ``Mums often feel alone and overwhelmed in their day-to-day lives,’’ Mrs Murdoch said.· ``Superclassmums gives them the physical and virtual support they need to be great.’‘

The group is both online through their website and in person with monthly meetings.· Thirty six women have already joined the online network since it started in April, where they can join or start groups catering to their interests.· They also hold meetings on the third Thursday of every month in the Hills.

Now the group has teamed up with the Greenway Playgroup in Cherrybrook to take on their first charitable task.· They are donating nappies to the St Michael’s Family Centre in Baulkham Hills, which provides accommodation and support to the homeless and women at risk.· ``We’ll also provide education sessions on life skills like cooking for children, budgeting and parenting skills,’’ Mrs Murdoch said.

HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED * Superclassmums are looking for more members and donations of nappies, which they are donating on a quarterly basis.
